7/31/08- After months of anticipation, I did it. The surgery was on 7/29/08 and I got home a few hours ago. It's so great to be back home. I know it's too early to weigh myself but could not resist. I've gained 10lbs but know it's the IV fluids in me. I am not hungry at all so having my 3 meals and supplements will be a challege for a while.
8/4/09 - It's been 6 days post-op and I feel a lot better every single day. I'm not even taking any pain medications, hardly. My whole abdomen feels uncomfortable and streching but not in pain. My back and neck hurt since I can't toss and turn at night. I've started to walk slowly for the last couple of days. It took 4 days to lose the extra 10lbs of IV fluids and surgery related gain but in the last 2 days since then, I've lost about 4 lbs. I'm at 179.1 today.
