Had my first dr.s appt on May 6 and I'm healing well and I dropped 11 lbs. in 12 daysI go back in 2 weeks for my first fill.  Looking forward for this life changing experience and reaching my goal weight.

Today I'm feeling real sore but other wise I'm ok.  The surgery went smoothly and it was a success.  Keep you all  posted on my journey.

My surgery is tomorrow at 8:50am, I dont know how I feel right now there is no emotion.  Please keep me in your prayers as I enter the beginning of my new life.

Got my surgery date which is April 24, 2009.  Will be on the losers bench soon, cant wait for the new and improved me!!!!!!!!!

On March 3, 2009 the dr.s ofc called, and I am approved by my insurance.  My first appt with the dr. is on March 17th.  Looking forward to the outcome.

I just became a member a few days ago.  I am 43 yrs. old, 238lbs and climbing, disappointed in myself.  This is the highest I have ever been. I am an emotional eater, I've tried, tried and tried different diets and nothing seem to work now i just cant get my mind focus on losing weight.  I never thought I would be considering having weight loss surgery (lapband).  I went as far as calling the dr.s ofc and now I'm waiting to see if my insurance(BCBS- fed) will cover me. I just need some help right now.
