hi esa. i just wanted to say hi. hope you enjoyed your bbq. i went to two bbq's saturday. didn't pig out to much. well our big day is coming soon . i still have a house to straighten up get most of my meds together. now just some goodies for me and so food for my family. i don't feel nervous, happy it is coming soon. i will get the nerves the day before. so best of luck, try to keep in touch so i know how you did. maybe i will call you at your hospital, we both can share our ooh's nd aah's. ha ha !! god bless and have a safe ride to the loser side. i will write again befoe sugery . hope to hear from you soon-linda woods

I wanted to wish you well with your upcoming surgery. I hope that all goes well and that you are up and out and about real soon. I'll bet you are are doing a happy dance accompanied by a bundle of unwanted "NERVES", but don't worry be HAPPY! You are in my thoughts and prayers. Good Luck!

hi its me linda woods. dr adaniels finally got his insurance. they called people on thurs and i finally got a definite date of sept 8th. at good sam hosp . i had a tentative date of sept 17th. i am happy now that i know it is set. so much to do. i will e-mail you god bless and the best of luck with your surgery. -linda woods

Have you ever seen the movie: THE WIZARD OF OZ??? Well, soon you will be saying what the wicked witch said when Dorothy threw a bucket of water on her: "I'M MELTING!! I'M MELTING!!!" Those lbs will just melt off of you soon. You will soon be walking down the YELLOW BRICK ROAD to see the WIZARD OF OZ and your sweetest wish will be granted. Congratulations and good luck to you. My husband and I both had our open rny's at Pacific Bariatric in San Diego in 2001 and have lost a combined total of 325 lbs. YOU CAN DO IT TOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! By the way, we are both diabetics and this surgery has eliminated our need for most meds. My husband takes NO meds at all now and his diabetes is completely under control. His blood tests come out at about 80. I take no insullin now (I was giving myself 5 shots a day!!) and I am now taking only one pill vs 5 a day. So let your friend with diabetes know that this surgery has been a life saver for both of us!!
