I had my surgery in November, but unfortunately have had some complications, I am doing much better now and am losing at a pretty steady rate. I have gone down 3 pants sizes and I am going to have to give in and buy new shirts, mine all are way too big and look like dresses on me. I will try to update more often and hope to get some new pics up soon..hope everyone is having nothing but good luck on your journey..God Bless ~ Els

24 HOURS!!!!

Tomorrow is the big day, 24 hours from now I will be in the operating room, starting my journey to a healthier me. I am blessed to be getting a chance to have a new lease on life. I am very nervous, but yet excited, and scared.. I have faith in my surgeon and am looking forward to becoming a new me.. on the outside anyway... Please keep me in your thoughts tomorrow.. ~ Els

Surgery is officially re- scheduled!!!!!

I just spoke with Dr. Bruces scheduler...my new Date is definately the 14th..surgery is scheduled for 12:45 , I need to be checkin in by 10:45.... 10 days and counting... Does anyone have any advice on how to deal with all the emotions I am having..is this normal???

I am feeling really down today.. I hope the next two weeks go by fast, I cannot stop thinking about the staff at Dr Clarey and Bruce's office..my thoughts and prayers are with them during this difficult time.....

I just got a call with some bad news...Dr. Allison Clarey passed away . My thoughts and prayers are with her family, friends and co-workers. My surgery has been moved to the 14th.

Final Pre Op Visit....

I had my final pre op visit with Dr. Bruce today, he so nice, he doesnt rush, answers all of your questions and makes you feel very comfortable... it is full steam ahead..in less than a week I will be on my journey to a new me!!!!

Emotions......

I feel like I am on an emotional rollercoaster.. I am happy, scared, nervous, and excited all rolled into one big ball of nerves!!! My surgery is ONE week from today!!!!
