Hang in there Loretta. I know you will pull thru it. My step-father told me once that God never promises a smooth flight, just a safe landing. Although life throws us some really rough curves we always manage to pull inner strength to conquer everything. I am happy about you weight loss and I am sure you will make to the "century" club. Loretta, My thoughts and prayers are with you. The last month has been very challenging at best with all of the issues that you have dealt with. I do not think that the loss of a parent is easy at any point in our lives and it is one of those heart wrenching issues that we must deal with. I wish you all the best in your journey. You took a major leap with 75lbs in one month. The weight loss has to slow down in order for your body to catch up and remain healthy. Do not give up and continue what you are doing. I know that we all wish that the weight would just magically disappear but losing a little slower is easier on the system and it will allow your "mind" to learn how to deal with a smaller person. Take good care of yourself and live each day as it comes. Many people are supporting you in your grief and thinking of the trials that you have expereinced. KimmieTN

Just wanted to tell you how sorry I am about you losing your mom. I lost mine on New Years 99, and still miss her. The pain has dulled, and the memories are wonderful. But there isn't anything like having your mom to lean on. I pray that God will soften the pain, and fill you with the most loving memories of her. Congradulations on your weight loss. You have made great life changing choices. Keep it up, Laury
