Since I am just now trying to figure out this profile thing, I thought I would update what I have done so far to get ready for surgery!
So far I have been to 2 appointments in Syracuse. I have done my psych eval. with Dr. Fitzgerald, and have had my bloodwork done that needed to be done. I had an abnormality in my EKG, so I have to see a cardiologist on the 31st for a stress test. I also found out I was anemic when I had my bloodwork done, so I had to have more done so the Dr can figure out why. I just did that on Thursday so I am waiting to hear back from him. Oh, I also got the paperwork from the sleep clinic that they need in Syracuse.
I am having a hard time with the not drinking while eating thing. I have always been a big water drinker and its just hard to not drink while I am eating...and for the hour afterward. It just seems wrong! But I am working on it. I have also kicked the diet pepsi habit for the most part. I still have about 2 a week, but thats down from 2 a day so it is good!
Snacking is also a big issue. I am a grazer. I am trying to stop that too, but it is really hard! I have gotten to where I am pretty much snacking on healthier things, but I am still snacking.
I am trying to mentally prepare myself for the surgery also. I am an emotional eater, so I am thinking about what I am going to do instead of eat! Any suggestions are welcome :)
