I have met my surgeon. Dr Thompson at the Mayo clinic. Now I am getting excited. The letter to my insurance co. was sent out this week. Now in about 2 weeks or so I should know. Then all I will have to wait for is to get the date! I pray things will go well for me. I am very nervous. I hope talking to others who had the surgery will calm me down. I would appreciate hearing from someone. I pray things are going well for you all and I pray we will all stay healthy. donna wick

Nov 16,2002. I will be meeting my surgeon on Dec. 27th. I am so excited. The wait is killing me. I get so frustrated with the wait. In the mean time I talk to people who have had theirs and are on their way to a slimmer healthier person. It is hard for me to wait. I decided to get the open RNY as the list is not as long as it is for the lap. I will also we going to the Mayo. Please wish me luck. And to all of you who have had the surgery and are losing keep up the good work. donna

Good Luck on your consult. I went thru Mayo and I think they are great! I am having surgery Aug 1st with Dr.Sarr.12 days to go!!
