Well this has been an amazing journey, which continues. I never thought i would be able to lose weight, but it's really happening. Since surgery Nov 10, 2008, i've lost 43 pounds, that is simply incredible to me. 30 more to go. I dont seem to lose weight as fast as everyone else, but that's ok. It took yrs to gain it all, and i can't expect to lose it all overnight while sleeping (however that would be fantastic ha-ha). I've now discovered i've got a really bony butt, but that is a minor thing to have to worry about. I ride horses almost everyday, and i'm sure they are thanking me for not being such a big girl.
Finally after 4 months my eating has improved and i dont feel like i'm trying to force food in. My new tummy is starting to feel normal, and it's like i'm not even eating reduced amounts. So there is a time when you start to feel normal again haha.
I'm even more happy with the results of this surgery than i thought i would be. For the first time in my life i dont have a disasterous relationship with food. I can eat 1 bite of "bad" food and be completely satisfied, which is fantastic as i've never been able to do that in my life.
The journey continues
