12/6/01 I came home today. Tired and weak from the drive home. But I am doing good despite the fever and diarrhea that started yesterday, and I got to come home anyway. Thanks for all your encouragement and calls, it all means so much.

Hi Darla, I just wanted to wish you the best of luck and prayers for as you go to surgery soon. I know how you are feeling and belive me it will all be over real soon.I had my gastric bypass on the 11-5-01 and it went well.I also had my gaulbladder out to. that hurts more than the other.you will soon be a new women with a wonderful life ahead of you.So just remember the old ways are gone, and the new begans. god bless. Darla, best wishes for your upcoming surgery. I had mine in November 2000, and I have never had a single regret. One thing that may help to remember is that the nervousness is over with when you wake up in the recovery room to your new life.
