John Maguire
"Attended Dr. Maguire's information seminar about a month ago. It took me 5 months to get that appointment! I was very impressed with him. He was so compassionate and spoke candidly about the problems of the obese. He did not think my insurance (UHC) would cover this surgery, even though UHC told me that it would be covered if medically necessary. His group of surgeons have decided not to renew their contract with UHC. Their current contract runs through Dec 31st. He did offer to come in on one of his scheduled days off to do my surgery if I could get it approved. His staff was very kind and welcoming, and quick to return my calls. He stressed the importance of follow up and support group meetings. "
