"My general thoughts about Good Samaritain is I've had issues with them in the past over billing. They are very quick to turn-over bills to collection even before the insurance has responded. My old P.C doctor was located on the campus, in which at times it was hard to get a message to him when I needed more medications. 3 week absentances and no fill-in doctor leaves the patient waiting for weeks. At times, the main office would not patch me through to speak to a nurse. After many attempts, I left my number which took another 2 weeks to return. I was given a referral to see a specailist, which it took the specailist 2 more weeks to call with an appointment. This comment is directed towards the Good Sam's clinic, and not the weightloss center. "
"I am pre-op so I haven’t had the surgery but I have met with Dr.Don Yarbrough in which he explained the by-pass surgery in detail. He was upbeat during our visit while projecting the seriousness when needed, such as life style changes and food. He was very through and professional. At my visit I asked him his complication rate and number of operations which was below the national average. I like the fact he studied at the Mayo clinic. I feel Dr. Yarbrough is a professional physician and has great patient/ doctor relationship."
