I had my surgery two months ago.  My doctor told me that I was ahead of the game as far as my weight loss and I'm very proud of that.  I'm feeling like an ugly duckling back in middle school!  You remember when you started going through puberty and you had acne, your feet were bigger than your body?  Do you remember going through that ugly stage where you just looked plain, ole awkward?  I feel like that now!  My hair looks funny.  My face is getting smaller faster than my body!  Everyone notices that my face, neck, and chest are smaller and that I have lost a lot of weight.  My legs are still big in some places, but losing in others!  I'm getting extra dips in places I didn't know would dip!  My walk is off although my posture is 100% better.  I AM JUST PLAIN AWKWARD!  Feels like puberty all over again!

I know this too shall pass!  I will soon emerge into this beautiful swan just like the fairy tale!  I will embrace this awkwardness!
