Back on the Grind
Dec 01, 2009
Well, I had my surgery on 11/20/2009. All done and so far so good. The first three nights were the worst!! The gas was terrible. Every time I felt it coming I would get up and pace back and forth in my apartment. Anyone, getting the gastric banding surgery I recommend to walk, walk and walk. To get rid of all that gas. Once that subsides it's smooth sailing. =P I do not regret nothing. I am feeling more energized as each day passes. I also thank The Creator every day for my husband without him I do not know what I would have done to get out of bed, use the bathroom and help me shower. Now that's a man. I am SO blessed.
Right now I am on liquids and I advance to mushies this weekend. Just in time for my trip to Tombstone. Yay!

Hi everyone my name is Daniela I'm 26 years old. This year has been a hell of a year for me. I have been working towards my Lap-Band Surgery since the beginning of 2009. I have been looking into getting surgery for a while, but when I saw myself close to 300 pounds that's when I made up my mind. Like many I have been struggling with my weight since I was a child. I just found out I was approved and my surgery is scheduled for November 20Th 2009. I am sooo ready for this change. I just hope I have the support from my husband and my family. Wish me luck!
