I am 34 years old and was told recently that I started gaining weight at the age of 10 after having my tonsils taken out. I never knew when it started, I just know I have always dealt with it.

I am three weeks out and have lost 32 pounds. Wow! I am still in shock. My clothes are beginning to fit differently. I am doing well so far.

I am 11 weeks out and have lost 68 pounds. I am doing so many things that I never used to do. It is so much fun!!!! I feel like a different person.

Tomorrow I will be 4 months out. I have lost 97 pounds. I feel so much better, I never knew I had felt bad. Life is great and only going to get better.

It has been 5 months since surgery. It has been kind of a whirl wind, but what fun! I have lost 117.5 pounds. It is hard to put into words where I am right now. I never thought I would be where I am, but I am loving it!

It has been 7 months since surgery. I have lost 127 pounds. It is hard to put into words what this surgery has done for me. It has given me a life I never knew I could have. Life is so much fun! I am getting closer to my goal every day.

This weekend marks 11 months since my surgery. I weighed this morning and I have lost 155 pounds. I weigh 188 pounds, it is fabulous. Words can not describe what I feel. It is the best thing by far that I have ever done. I would do it again in a heartbeat.

Today is my first anniversary. I can't believe it has been a year already. My, how my life has changed. I have lost 163 pounds. This was for sure the best christmas present I could ever have given myself. I am so thankful to Dr. B and his staff. They truly change lives for the better. I am only 37 pounds away from my goal. Things are great.
