10/16/04 I received notice from my insurance company today, that they are not going to approve me for my surgery. I can't say that I am surprised, but I am disappointed. I'll give my doctor's sec'y a call on Monday and get the appeals process rolling. Somehow though, I doubt that it will do any good. Either way, I am going ahead with the surgery. My husband, Tom, and I had already discussed the possibility of being a "private pay patient". I'm so grateful to have found this wonderful community of folks!

Jenni, Thank you! Laura, I'm looking at our photo taken before our cruise this February. I can't wait to have one taken of the NEW Donna & Laura next October! Here we come world!
