have'nt blogged in awhile so hear is the low down!  I was doing very well with my weight loss like 87 pounds, untill September 08. Well at that time very quickly i was unable to get up on my own, i had extream pain in my knees, feet amung other places  like my hands elbows and fingers.  Well went to Md ,blood work then waiting MRI of knees so anyway was diagnosed with rhumatoid arthrits! This shit sucks! Refered to rhumatolagist started on meds. one being prednisone a steroid which since that time my weight loss has been very slow maybe 20 pounds since sept. The doctor told me take the meds and walk or dont take the meds and dont walk! The pain has gotten better but the meds im on has reached their maximum potential so I have to start on IV infusions with Biological meds. Hopefully I will be able to come off the prednisone so my weight loss can get back on track !  I hope that the RA gets stable so I can be more normal!  Also found out I have miniscus tears in both knees and will be having surgery for that. I also  have a large upper abdominal hernia that i have to have corrected sooner than later because of the pain it is causing.  Boy poop rolls down hill and im at the bottom dodging the hard ones lol.

RNY on 6/5/08, everything went off without any problems. Doing well weight loss 49 pounds. Need to get motivated, I'm a slouch. will be starting physical therapy soon. Hopefully things continue to do well.

All pre surgical consults compleated,passed all required testing!!  Huray!!  Now more waiting, Can't  wait for surgery!  BCBS of De requires 6 mo. documented weight loss attempts, I have been in classes since Dec. 07, As long as I get insurance approval, I'm looken at a surgical date in JUNE.
