Hello! My story begins early....when my Grandmother made clothes for my sister and I. She was a wonderful seamstress - worked for Herman Marcus for years. We could see something, tell her we liked it and she would cut the pattern out of newspaper. However, that came with drawbacks. She would make my clothes the size she thought I should be! Every Christmas when opening my gifts, she would say, " don't worry, if the pants are too tight, I'll let them out!"....Well, needless to say, I spent my teenage years and most of my 20's taking every diet pill know to man, going on every diet, not eating.....eating too much. And, here I am, 52 years old married for 25 years and 100 pounds overweight. So, last September I began researching. Started with dietician in November (insurance requirement) and now its June and I'm anticipating getting my date next week! I'm am looking forward to the life I'm going to get back! I look forward to sharing my journey with friends here.
