I have been overweight most of my life. I am 41 years old, married and have two adult children. A son who is 22 and a daughter who is 19. My current weight is 345, I am wearing a size 30/32 on top and a 28 pants. I am graduating from my options class on Monday 3/22. My insurance required that I took a 20 class prep, before I could be approved for the surgery. Then I will have to wait about 2 months for my consult with the surgeon. And then I will have to wait two more months after that for my surgery date. I am having the RNY. The reason why I chose to have the RNY is to be more healthy. I am diabetic and have high blood pressure.
