"I have been seeing Dr.Findley since 1993. He is very attentive. His staff is wonderful. Whenever I have had to be sent to a specialist his office has always sent me to someone that was "size friendly". When I decided to have RNY his staff bent over backwards to help me get the ball rolling and have been very supportive since my surgery."
"I had an ok stay at this hospital. They were wonderful about letting my mom and my six year old nephew stay with me in my room. The only issues I had were when my IV machine was empty and was beeping. I would call the nurse station and let them know but it would take a while for someone to come. One time it took 20 min for someone to come and the person that came wasn't coming for that reason she was just checking up on me. The second issue I had is when I asked for a bath. The CNA came in got everything ready and then just handed me the washclothes for me to wash myself. I mean I haven't been able to take a tub bath for a couple of years now no way I can wash anything past the incision now. Other than the above mentioned incidents my stay was ok. For the most part the nursing staff was very genuine and caring for their patients."
"My first impression of Dr.Hruska was a little concerned becuase she is rather young. However after speaking with her and her nurse I was more at ease. She is very direct and straight to the point. She let's you know that she wants you to promise her that you will get up and walk the night of your surgery. Otherwise she won't do the surgery. She makes sure that she has all the paperwork she will need before she goes for insurance approval which makes things a much smoother road. She not only goes over aftercare before your surgery but she goes over it several times after your surgery and on the day of discharge. I rate her overall as a wonderful surgeon. I honestly can't find anything I didn't like. To me a surgeon that has a good bedside and is surgically competent is ideal. In my opinion Dr.Hruska deffinately fills both of these."
