Well... I had pages and pages of my journey through WLS.. It is all gone so the basics are.
I had my surgery December 31, 2003. My first appt was in November of 2003.. I was so prepared to have my surgery date.. I had all of my pre-op appts scheduled and completed before I ever went to my initial visit with my Dr.
Surgery went great.. I had a wonderful Dr. He doenst perform the procedure any longer due to patients not complying with the program he set forth. So this has left me without a Dr. for my post op care.. And on top of that I can find a Dr. that will do my post op care cause they didnt do my Procedure. No Dr. No support Groups.. Im left alone and on here on OH to find the answers to my many many questions.
When I started my weight was 310 pounds.. Im now down to 170.. Still 20 pounds away from my goal weight. I struggle daily to make the right decisions when it comes to my diet.. I'm still not doing to well with it, but I do work at it daily...
