One week Post-Op...Feeling good!

Today is my first day back to work! Exactly one week post-op, I am feeling a tiny bit tired but I just keep the protein coming and it will goes away. I had the procedure Tuesday last week, came home Friday night from the hospital. Over the weekend I have just rested but I did slip out to the mall and my daughter's basketball game! No pain medication needed since Thursday, I am just so excited. I am down 13 pounds now since last Monday! 
Now... don't get me wrong, it wasn't all peaches and cream here...I kind of thought I was losing my mind on Saturday I wanted food so bad...
BUT I didn't stray from my liquids...I went to bed at 5:40 that night I just couldn't handle it. Sunday was a little better and Monday even better. Now that I am back at work I am busy so my mind is staying off food. I just hope when I go Thursday afternoon for my first check up they tell me I can have eggs, cheese, and mashed potatoes. It will add so much for me!!!
Well I will keep you all posted as this is such an exciting journey!!! My new life has started!

I am so excited, just one day to go!!! I finished all my stuff I needed to get done prior to surgery and am all ready for tomorrow morning. I have to be at the hospital at 5:30 am for surgery at 7:30. I will keep you all posted on my journey!!!

I am so excited, I only have 5 more days to go before I start my new life!!! 
I am trying to finish up everything I need to be prepared for the big day. I also am trying to stay away from all the sick people around me. I tell you since I got my surgery date it seems everyone in the office is sick and even my three children are sick!!! I am staying positive here and just moving forward towards next Tuesday. Look forward to sharing my journey with all of you here on OH!
