OMG PRE OP DIET!!

Mama said they'll be days like this!!! I started my liquid diet on this past Saturday and when i tell you its more mental this anything else. Once you get pass the first few days it gets better. But my sense of smell has improved..lol everything smell soo good. You don't realize how much we rely on food until you don't have any. I'm counting down, 8 more days until my surgery date.. I hope my liver is really shrinking

Well the day has come, I'm will be sleeved on March 15th, and I so looking forward to this journey in my life, I'm soo excited and plan to be optimistic thru this entire process. I'm looking at this as a second chance to live a productive, healthy life...Let the fun begin!!! March 15th my New Birthday!!!

Finally Approved/Final Pre-Op

Well its has been truly a journey thru this entire process. I remember it was just a few months back that I went to my first WLS seminar, well let me mention that this is the second time i was approved the first time, they wanted me to have my surgery in December 2010 and i wanted to have it in March 2011 when i was able to take off from work. So after more testing and more appts Im finally APPROVED. I have my final appt with the surgeon tomorrow to complete my consent forms and pay my surgeon fees. I have my list ready to ask all my questions that have been flowing thru my head all day

Getting Stocked up on things I need

I'm what you call the expert on researching... for some reason i just love researching things, so I went on a quest to get as many free samples of the things I need right before and after surgery because I hear so many people say how horrible the proteins shakes were and I don't have a whole lot of money to be buying and trying different products. It was amazing how easy it was to just ask.." Ask and you shall receive" Below is a snap shot of some of the free samples I received, more is on the way so by the time my surgery rolls around I should be straight.
