"In all honesty, at first I wasn't so sure about Dr. Clarke. Our first meeting was o.k....I'm not sure where I got some reservations but they were there for sure. After meeting him again and then going through the surgery (I am 3 days past my surgery now) I would DEFINITELY refer him to anyone interested in Gastric Bypass Surgery. He is very thorough with his explanations, he really seems to take interest in what your personal concerns are, and others that had him rave about him as well. The entire program at Ellis is just wonderful.. the pre-op process is well planned, organized, and designed to really motivate you as you lead up to your surgery date. My level of care while in the Hospital was excellent...the nurses were friendly and the Anesthesia department was AWESOME. I wish i could remember the anesthesiologist's name, but his explanation of what had to be done was incredibly thorough and his bedside manner was impeccable. If you've looked into other programs in the area like I did, and didn't feel comfortable with the whole process, I strongly recommend you look into Ellis."
