"The biggest problem that I had with the staff from pre-op to the nursing staff post-op was communication. In most cases they did not communicate necessary information or they did not communicate it correctly. Secondly, if you used the nurse call button it could take 3-5 minutes for someone to answer the button and another 15-30 minutes before anyone came in the room. The first night a gal from PT or she could have been a CNA came into the room to help me get up for my first walk. She was not very gentle and cause me more pain than was necessary. Then when it came to helping me get back into bed she was very forceful and aggresive to the point that she choked me with the oxygen tubing and I had a red mark around my neck until the next morning. She then left the room and did not reconnect me to anything which left my family to try and figure it out."
"When I first met Dr. Snyder I was a little reserved and was not sure what to think. I had already met with a couple of other Doctors regarding WLS and was reluctant to met another. However, he made me feel right at ease and was very easy to talk with. I had several questions for him at his seminar and at my consulation and he was very patient and made sure that he answered all of my questions clearly and accurately. rnrnI have had a few issues with some of his staff members and I brought this to his attention. He acted very quickly on my concerns and we were able to get the issues resolved very promptly.rnrnDr. Snyder is a very talkative and energetic surgeon, therefore, if you are looking for a quiet and reserved surgeon he will not be on the one for you. He is full of sarcasim but in a way that eases you when you are feeling stressed or nervous."
