Uh, hello?
Aug 18, 2009
My first time here at this blog. I don't do blogs much, but whatever, I'm here now. Btw, my name is Dolores.
I am NOWHERE near having surgery. All I've done so far is go to Kaiser's Orientation class/meeting, and haven't even been placed in pre-surgery classes yet. If I'm gonna have surgery, I'm at least 5-6 months away, most likely longer than that.
It would be really nice to find a friend here in Southern California (L.A. County) who can relate. I'm a super heavyweight, BMI is over 60! I'm only 5ft and weigh appx 344 lbs. That's a helluva lot of weight on my tiny feet, small knees, petite back! Owww!!!
Anywho, if anyone would like to message me, I can be found at [email protected]. I live in Glendale and work in L.A. I recently had a bout with pneumonia
and was hospitalized. When I got home I was still sick, but when I was all well, sure I felt big relief, but I felt SOOO VICTORIOUS!
Having pneu was awwwwful experience. Really, it was a NIGHTMARE.
After surviving that, I figured that if I could endure that (pneu in hosp), I could endure ANYTHING! That's what made me finally decide to have WLS. For years, since Carnie Wilson had her's done, I've been teetering back and forth on it - yes, no, yes, no, etc. After the hospital in June, it's like, no more fartin' around, let's stop wasting time and finally DO THIS!!! WOOHOO!!!!!
