"This is for Dr. Watkins in Oak Brook, IL:rnrnHe's the nicest, most modest, and unbelievably talented laparoscopic surgeon. He's insanely dedicated to his patients (house calls in this day and age!) and wonderful to his staff. All this is very rare in a surgeon, in a boss, and heck, even in a human being.rnrnThe staff is kind and competent, doing their jobs well and caring for their patients.rnrnAftercare is very well executed, which is great because it's critical to long-term success. Since the Oak Brook office is just a few months old, there are only a limited number of patients participating, however, the know-how comes from the thousands of cases done by Dr. Watkins and the other Synchrony surgeons, which makes up for it.rnrnDr. Watkins went over every possible complications with statistics, very upfront, but he was also careful to make sure I understood just how rare band complications are, and how relatively minor they are.rnrnI would have to give him a full 5 stars, for both his competence and genuine warmth.
