Walter Medlin
"In 2005 started the process to have the RNY because at that time SMDC did not have the Lap Band. Had my surgeon consult with Dr Medlin because I was impressed with his presentation at the informational session I attended. Very easy to talk to, explains EVERYTHING and is not annoyed by questions even if you have a ton!! My surgery was approved then by insurance in December but our insurance was changed to a different company so could not get it done and decided to wait. Then I found out that SMDC was now offering the lap band and thought I'd go for it again and of course I requested Dr Medlin again and to my surprise he remembered me from almost 2 years ago and that impressed me considering the flow that I'm sure had gone through there and alot of Dr's would not have remembered from my experience. Once the surgery is completed I will update more on Dr Medlin."
