NeWeigh sent off the first letter to my insurance company, which was denied. There is one requirement that I have not met yet, the ever so famous "medically supervised diet", a 90 day one for me. I began one with my physician on January 21, 2006. So I am less than 30 days from being compliant. NeWeigh is planning to send an appeal letter within the next week or two. So it's just a matter of time before I can be on the losing side.
This site has been an excellent resource. I've been inspired by many of the profiles and have found an excellent support group, Pasadena, TX, support group, to help with my journey.
