Well I guess my story starts when I was 15 and found out I have lupus and through the years have lived on steroids one day I woke up and this fat face was looking back at me. So here I am having a surgery I swore I would never have lol. Of course after I was told I could go off of some of the 20 different meds I take every day I was thrilled. I am married to a wonderful man who married me knowing I was sick he has been through over 20 surgeries with me and 22 years of other illnesses. Of course I am diabetic, have hbp, high cholesterol and psuedo tumor cerebri and a bunch of other things so I will be happy even I loose 20 pounds and can go off of some of the drugs.
My doctor called me a couple days ago to say the base is now doing lap band surgery and did I want that on Tuesday now I am not one who is good at making fast decisions so I said no that I was mentally ready for the other and would stick with it. So I pray I do not regret this choice later.
When I look at this picture which was taken recently I realized that things had gotten way out of hand my boys hardly ever are together at the same time so we took these pictures I almost fainted when I saw me in them so I am really looking forward to saying goodbye to some of the old me.
