I just returned from my last pre-op visit with my surgeon and he is happy with my progress and was very reassuring. He said so long as I stick to an atkins type diet from here on in I will be fine.

I am meeting withthe surgeon in the morning and am so scared as I have been cheating on the liquid diet. Down @8 lbs - hope that is enough for the surgery to go forward!
Feeling pretty low!

I am on a two week optifast program to "shrink my liver" - and hopefully shrink myself also. I know it is for the best but I am so emotional and my stomache feels hot and just plain gross.
