*******CONGRATULATIONS ON YOUR UPCOMING SURGERY. ******* ~~~~~"Everything in our lives happens for a purpose and that purpose is to prepare us~~~~~~~~~~~ May God give you courage, strength and guidance throughout your new journey. Your big day is almost here, this is the day, your new life will begin, I cant promise it will be easy, cant say it will be hard, I can say that with all the complications and everything I had to go through, It was well worth it. I have never felt better in yearsss, I’m off all medications, have sooooo much more energy. So if you hit a bump in the road, hang in there and remember it will alll be worth it in the long run. Sending Prayers your way that the Lord will guide your surgeon’s hands. May the guardian angels wrap their loving arms of protection around you during your surgery and recovery . Remember your not alone in this journey, many of us have been down this road, we are here to offer love and support. Looking forward to hearing from you on the loosing side. Debra, I went to the same seminar you did at Baptist East on 8/13. I had my initial consultation last Thurs. 9/15. Be prepared to stay at least 2 hours. Since I'm doing the LapBand, Cyndy showed me the video which is about an hour. We did the history and physical thing. My insurance requires that I be on a 6 month physician supervised diet and exercise program and another program such as Weight Watchers, Nutrisystem, Jenny Craig, etc. within the last 2 years. I think I may have to rejoin one of those groups but I'm going to call my insurance company today. I have lost the records for Nutrisystem. Cyndy did put me on a 1600 cal diabetic/low cholesterol diet. My first weigh in with my primary care physician is Oct. 14. I also have to keep a food journal which Cyndy also gave me. 8/14/05 I went to the seminar Sat. everything went fine alot of people was there. I met Dr.Woodman and set an appointment up for 10/21/05 in the mean time I was givin a list of documents I need to have for the insurance company when I go for my visit to make things go a little faster.
