WOW!
I cannot believe it has been a month since my surgery!
I have lost almost 30 pounds and have gone from a 24 to s 18!!! I am so thrilled! YIPPIE!!!!!
I must say I aready feel better more energy, I dont feel sweaty all the time, and I want to go out and do things instead of sit on the couch and eat all the time.
I can now cross my legs (one of my goals) it is so amazing. I am very very happy!

December 7, 2007 - Over 1 Week Post Op

Finally, I am home.
Just over one week post op. I must say that the pain was alot more intense than I thought it was going to be! I am so grateful that I have my Mom and my best friend here to help me while I am home from the hospital. My stomach is having these horrible gurgling sounds but the doctor says that this is all normal. I had a great stay at the hospital the nurses and the other staff were absolutely amazing.
December 2, 2007 - Post Op Day 3

I'm posting for Deborah (this is her husband). She had surgery (Laproscopic Roux-en-Y gastric bypass) on the 28th of this week...everything went very well and she was discharged home on Friday evening.
She is doing well---just some normal post-op discomfort.

I have officially been given a surgery date, November 28!!! I cannot believe it. The time will be here so quickly!

Well I am on the way, I have filled out the "book" of forms for the surgery and have been approved! Also I have had many of the test completed just waiting for the surgery date.
