George Woodman
"I have been very impressed w/ Dr Woodman. He is a superb practitioner with an impeccable surgical reputation. His office staff are very helpful,sweet and encouraging. I know that if there is any complication at all Dr Woodman is the Dr to have as he is on top of things so quickly. He is a no-nonsense type and has laid protocol out so clearly that there really should be no need for any questions. He treats the patient as the most important part of the team and as such, he expects the patients to do their homework and practically memorize the protocol book. If you are looking for a gooey,sweet, hand-holding physician, he is not your guy BUT He will make sure we succeed if it is in his power. He holds one support group meeting a month but does encourage patients to support each other which is what has happened in my case-we have started a small group that meets every 2 weeks and hope that it grows. His office is always full and that speaks well to his reputation. All I can say is that if you are in the Midsouth area, you will be well taken care of if you choose Dr. Woodman. In the seminars he gives, he is extremely honest about the subject of WLS and what impressed me was that he wasn't there to \"sell\" anyone on the surgery or to talk them into it. It was \"just the facts\" which was great!!!! "
