Went to finally see my Dr who has been ill and he would not send off my ohip application. He feels that the monies should stay in Canada rather than go to the Statesh... Left there upset and crying. The next day I receive a phone call from the nurse I am seeing Dr. Perdin in June who is a nutrionist and Dr. Reid, the surgeon, also June 12th CAN NOT WAIT.....HAPPY finally waiting since Jan when went and was approved by Dr. Schram in Ypsilanti

OHIP approval time?

Hi I am new to this site. I have had my consultation and just waiting for my dr to come back from sick leave to sign my approval papers to have gastric by pass by Dr. Schram. Anyone know how long OHIP takes for prior approval?
