50lbs in the first month!

So this is GREAT! I have sooo much energy to just GO. For all who are asking what I am doing, here is the list:
1) Every other day, I walk for 2.5 miles in the morning... drinking at least 20oz of water during the walk. I keep my heart rate in the target range by slowing down or speeding up.
2) I drink Freshstart every morning (42 grams of protein in a 2.8oz bottle)
3) I really eat every 3-4 hours... be it an apple, tuna oatmeal with spenda, or whatever.
4) I follow a workout regiment on the days that I don't walk (cleared by my doctor.
5) I park as far away as possible every chance I get and walk. no elevators.
6) I take all of the vitamns and suppliments I'm told to. (no cheating) I rest on the weekends.
That's pretty much it...
Oh, I just started playing tennis and I'm sure that burning some calories. I'm not perfect on the diet front, (I drink gatorade and vitamin water) but I am ALWAYS looking for a way to sweat!
This surgery is such a blessing! I was late for work today because I had so many things to choose from in my wardrobe that I could fit comfortably.

40lbs in 12 DAYS!!!

I have lost 40lbs in 12 days!! I thought that it may have been close to 15-20lbs. what a pleasant surprise on the first day back to work! That is really amazing! Now I am REALLY excited! stay tuned for next week's weigh-in! I AM PSYCHED!

It has been 11 days since my surgery and I truly feel GREAT!! I have energy to do the things I want to do (though sometimes I get dead tired in the middle of the day). I am NEVER hungry!!! (though this liquid diet is NOT enjoyable) I am losing wieght so fast that I am scared to weigh myself. I go back to work tomorrow, and I'm gonna weigh myself there. This surgery is such a blessing. If you are thinking about doing it, DO IT! Do your research so that you are comfortable with the dangers for peace of mind. But I gotta say this is the best choice I've ever made for my health.
I am gonna post pictures at major mile markers. most likely at 6 month intervals. I've purchased the P90X system and I can wait to get released for serious exercise. This time next year, I want to be diesel again. Stay tuned people... Be Blessed!
