ANGEL UPDATE Denise is doing great today...24 hours after surgery. She is eating her jello, drinking her water and WALKING. She has a wonderful roommate who had RNY 2 years ago, so we are both getting some great hints. One of note is that the roommate is there for bleeding ulcers because she stopped taking her Tagamet.....Good lesson to learn! Anyway, it looks like I can bring her home tomorrow.....Yippee! The next update will probably come from Denise herself. Thanks for all the good wishes.

denise what a wonderful day to start your new life oct. 4 was my precious granny's birthday she passed away last year the day after her birthday she was 85 yrs old and let me tell you she was a angel on earth so i know she has huge wings in heaven. Ill be sending my prayers up for you. i had my surg lap and did great i went back to work the next wk and was in the hospital overnight thats is. glenda berry (lap starting 249 today 192) 4 months out.

JUST ONE MORE DAY AND TWO "WAKE-UPS" This is such an exciting time for Denise and for the rest of the family. She found out that I was going to have the surgery, and decided to make it a FAMILY AFFAIR! Now my surgery is Nov. 16th, and my wonderful daughter-in -law is going to start her new life on thursday, October 4th in Clovis, Ca (just north of Fresno.) Her husband, Shane, is on board the Carl Vinson in the Persican Gulf (Navy) so we will be emailing him when she makes it to the "other side". Then I get to spend the next few days visiting her in the hospital and taking care of the world's most perfect granddaughter while Mom is in the hospital. She is already talking about being back in her classes at college the following week (Lap). Please show her your support with an email! Mary Ann Coon
