Dawn, that is very kind of you...to have quit smoking is the hardest thing ever. Im sure you already know that. I am scheduled for surgery on Dec 17. Thats why I am cleaning out the lungs now so to speak! It will be open RNY, as I am too big for thelap. Shucks! Have a great day and thanks for the encouragement

Hi Dawn, Thanks for your message. I am having my surgery tomorrow. Today I am on a liquid diet. I am very nervous now. It helped me to read through your goals and recognize some of my own. I am going to post some goals for myself too, so that I can review them on days when I need to remember why I am doing this! Best wishes to you!

Hi Dawn. I am happy to welcome you to the AMOS group. I am pre-op too and I am addicted to this site. Everyone here is so nice and supportive. If it makes you feel any better, I have BCBS of TN, PPO and I was approved 2 days after they received the letter (the second letter, the first one was coded wrong). If you have any questions or if there is anything I can do to help you please let me know. P.S. have you got all your paper work ready for the doctor?
