Sacred Heart Medical Center

"In general, this was one of the nicer stays I have had with Sacred Heart Hospital. It is obvious Dr's Umbach and Gorrin want the very best for their patients and they see to it that it is provided."

Thomas Umbach

"When I first saw Dr. Umbach, I was attending a seminar that had many people there to listen in so I only saw him from a distance. When I got to actually meet with Dr. Umbach one-on-one, I grew confident that he is knowledgeable in the area of Bariatrics. I kept thinking that \"dang, my life will literally be in this mans hands\" it's frightening to think about if one thinks too deep about that. However, after listening to Dr. Umbach speak at a local seminar again, I had NO DOUBT whatsoever, that he knows what he is doing and takes bariatric surgery very seriously. He allowed me to speak with him again at the seminar and gave me his undivided attention. I am also aware that Dr. Gorrin will be assisting in my surgery and for that I am also grateful. What a team of doctors they have at the Oregon Bariatric Center and they are taking on yet another surgeon, Dr. Yarbrough,: Residency: Mayo Clinic, Rochester, Minnesota . I can see that this group means business and I feel very fortunate that they have chosen our area to form their practice.rnrnHeavy emphasis is placed on after care as well. I have been active in the local support group and plan to stay involved for a long time to come."
