So I am at 20 pounds and 18 inches.  Went to my office today and what a reception.  There were only a few people there that knew I had to surgery and they were really surprised at my progress.  I am so happy every morning to look at the scale.
And to put on pants that were 2 sizes smaller than a month ago.
 WAHOOOOOOOOO

2 weeks since surgery.  I am 20 pounds lighter and 17 inches smaller.  WAHOOOO!  I am feeling really amazing about having the surgery.  Having a bit of trouble getting my stamina back, but other than that feeling great.

What a wonderful feeling to get up and actually look forward to looking at the scale!!!

So - surgerty is done, I am home, but man am I sore.  I know that it is normal, but I guess I thought that because it was laproscopic it would be fine after a couple of days.  But, have to be patient, not as young as I used to be.

I had a nice surpise in the mail Saturday - one of my bestest friends sent me magnets "NOTHING TASTES AS GOOD AS THIN FEELS"  - now i did not creat this - it came out of one of the books I have been reading, but I want it to be my mantra - especially after all I have gone through this last week.

Well, here I am - all the tests are done, I have all my supplies here, but boy am I nervous.  I know that I am doing this for all the right reasons - I want my life to be better - I want to live longer and feel better.  But it certainly is a bit scary - even more so now with just 2 days left. 

I have a friend that came from Nevada to stay with me when I come home, so that is a relief since all my friends work and all my family is out of state. 

Today I can eat, and then tomorrow only liquids and then off to the hospital Tuesday at 5 a.m.

Well only 19 days to go before my surgery.  I am so excited and scared.  I came to this website to try to meet others that are going through or have already been where I am today.
