Hi Everyone! I have struggled with my weight off and on since I was 15. What a hard road it has been. I could always get the weight off, but could never keep it off. I yo-yo'd like a crazy woman. Thats not healthy, so, I finally did something permanant about it. I had the Gastric Sleeve on Aug 30, 2007. In just one month I have lost 30 pounds. I am so grateful to Dr. Barker for doing my surgery. He has helped me start a "New Life". How do you thank someone enough for that?? -- I have worked for Dr. Barker for almost 5 years now. So of course, I have nothing but GREAT things to say about him and my fellow staff members. We understand how our patients feel, and want to help them change their lives for the better. Our office strives to exceed your expectations. We are continuing to grow, but always put the patients first. I have watched Dr. Barker with his patients for years and always thought what a great bedside manner he has. He makes everyone feel comfortable and puts them at ease. His blue eyes help, I think. :) -- If you are looking for a GREAT weight loss surgeon, look no further... Dr. Barker's surgical competence is steps above the rest. I trusted him with my life, my best friends life, and my mom is scheduled for surgery in October. We are on this journey together!! I'm so excited to live the rest of my life now.
