Ok, I never thought I would be saying this but.....

It's day 6 of my liquid diet and I must admit I am feeling better and lighter on my feet but those first few days were pure hell! I'm feeling good today and settling in to my upcoming reality. This is really going to happen to me in one week from today.
My 16 year old son is having a reality slap though. Just this morning he asked me if I really had to go through this to lose weight because he really had a bad vibe and he couldn't imagine life after this surgery. I just explained that I feel this is the best decision I have ever made for myself and if I didn't go through with it I feared I would be headed for an early death of a morbid obesity related illness. He didn't say anything else but I do think he fears losing me. My 14 year old son is happy as a lark for me. He's excited about visiting all the amusement parks we have planned for the summer. I'm with him, I excited about this too!
My hubby, Benji, has been supportive since day one. He says he loves me no matter what size I am but realizes I'm not healthy at my size now. He is looking forward to me feeling like, uhc-umm, well it's kind of private, but your guess is probably right.
Oh Yeah! I'm ready to get my sexy back!!

Well it's my 3rd day of liquid diet. I am soooo miserable!!!! I am experiencing one of the worst headaches ever!! My head feels like it is splitting in two. I can hardly think! I hope like hell that tomorrow is better.
My birthday is coming up on Dec. 1st. I wonder if I can add some birthday cake to my shake!?!......awwwww, JK
I just wish I was already on the other side!

Hi Everyone, I have been a member here for over a year now. I think it's time to share my story with others.
I'm 38 years old and have two teenage sons and I've been married to my wonderful DH for over 19 years. I've mostly been over weight most of my life with the exception of my teen years. I decided on weight loss surgery about 5 years ago however my insurance just started covering it 2 years ago. I love everything about the DS. I don't like being a stand outish type of person plus I am only able to use nsaids for pain relief.......TO BE CON'T
