Hi Angela, glad to hear you are on the other side of your journey. You will love your new life. I am only 8 or 9 weeks ahead of you. I had my surgery on 4/26. Every day and every week it gets better and better. kathy

Your surgery date has come and gone, and I know how excited you must be. This surgery has saved so many lives, and I'm no exception. If you would have told me a year ago that I'd be water skiing, wakeboarding, and biking a volcano, I would not have believed you. Be patient, do everything the doctor says, and embrace the NEW YOU. You deserve it. We "wls-ers" want to welcome you to the loosing side. Good Luck!

I spent some time with Angie in the hospital on Friday. I could not stay with her because she was not in a room by herself - although she did end up getting a private room later that night. She had a horrible nurse - so she complained and requested a different nurse tonight. She is doing good. She is up walking around and looks great. She has been battling a headache today (Sat), but otherwise is doing great! She will probably be going home tomorrow. Yeah! She has eaten jello, broth and popsicles.

Hi Angela! Congrats on having your surgery! I bet you feel relieved now. It's over and now you are on the other side and can join the ranks of the losers. Welcome, my friend!!! Happy RE-Birthday to you! From this day forward you life will change forever. Just try to take it easy and remember to sip, walk, deep breathe and cough. These first few days are rough, but I assure you they get better with each passing day. I just wanted you to know that I was thinking about you today and that you are in my thoughts and prayers for an uncomplicated, swift recovery. You are an official loser!! Angie is in recovery! She went in at 7:30 this morning. Dr. Coirin said everything went well! Angie has requested no visitors and no calls please. She just wants to rest. I will update you again after I see her tonight! Way to go Angie!! You are now a LOSER!
