I'm so glad to hear you are home a feeling good, probably just feels good to be home. Well the most common saying is "one in a million" but how many can say they're one in 10,993!!! God bless you with continued health and skinnyness!

I SAID A PRAYER FOR YOU TODAY~*~ I said a prayer for you today And know God must have heard- I felt the answer in my heart Although He spoke no word I didn't ask for wealth or fame, I knew you wouldn't mind, I asked Him to send treasures Of a far more lasting kind, I asked that He'd be near you At the start of each new day, To grant you health and blessings And friends to share your way. I asked for happiness for you In all things great and small, But it was for His loving care I prayed the most of all.

My gosh, it gets worse, but now it's MUCH better. Here is the text from Jaime yesterday...... ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ News alert... I'm not sure if word has traveled around yet, but my mom is being transferred back down to the bariatrics wing today. The care she has been receiving upstairs has been crappy (to say the least). They pretty much neglected the fact that she was having an allergic reaction to the morphine and left her itching for nearly four hours. Her eyes completely swelled shut. And then they forgot and almost gave it to her again. Not to mention the fact that there was a nurse with the "cackle from hell" waking her up every five minutes. They also tried to feed her juice loaded with sugar. They just don't know who they are dealing with. Sara, being exactly like her mother, went straight to the director of the hospital and had my mother moved back downstairs where she will be properly cared for. She is in route as I speak/ type. Her new room# is 175. She also had her CAT scan about an hour ago and I think they should get the results later this evening. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ She had her CAT Scan yesterday, and apparently her intestine is riding up against itself and there is a leak from one to the other. That is apparently where the pain is coming from. She's scheduled for surgery again this afternoon around 2:00 PM. She was really bummed about having to go through surgery again, and even being admitted back into the hospital. I'll let you know what happens when I get back from seeing her this afternoon. Bob

got this email from her hubby.... Hello, Julie has been having some problems last couple of days, she's been experiencing back and stomach pains. Her daughter Jaime drove her in to the Doctors Hospital this afternoon to find out what the problem might be. Whenever when tried to eat anything it was very painful for her. She was not eating anything she was not allowed to. It seems that she's really dehydrated and they'll be running a CT test tomorrow to find out what the pain might be caused by. She's on an IV right now. They'll be keeping her for the next three days. Her room number is 234. I'll be keeping you informed as this goes on.... Bob

I got a couple emails from Julie's hub... (thanks Bob!!) to let me know that Julie came thru her surgery just great!! No complications at all... she was able to be done lap... As of yesterday, she was doing great!! Her doggie, Sadie, had a little operation yesterday too... got "nudged" by a car... The comment made by Bob really made me giggle.. thought I'd pass it on: Oh yes, update on Sadie too.... Her surgery went very well, and I'll be picking her up this afternoon. Hmmm, I wonder if they'll make Julie wear a cone like the one Sadie's wearing.....? ;>) ..... and yes.. I'm still laughing!! btw.. will try to get an update today on Julie!

Don't undermine your worth by comparing yourself with others, It is because we are different that each of us is special. Don't set your goals by what other people deem important, Only you know what is best for you. Don't take for granted the things closest to your heart Cling to that as you would your life, for without them life is meaningless. Don't let your life slip through your fingers by living in the past or the future. By living your life one day at a time, you live all the days of your life. Don't give up when you still have something to give Nothing is really over … until the moment you stop trying. Don't be afraid to admit that you are less than perfect, It is the fragile thread that binds us to each other. Don't be afraid to encounter risks, It is by taking chances that we learn how to be brave. Don't shut love out of your life by saying it's impossible to find. The quickest way to receive love is to give love. The fastest way to lose love is to hold on too tightly, And the best way to keep love is to give it wings. Don't dismiss your Dreams. To be without dreams is to be without hope. To be without hope is to be without purpose. Don't run through life so fast that you forget where you've been, But also know where you're going. Life is not a race, but a journey to be savored every step of the way.
