"I attended Dr. Fisher's informational meeting on May 17, 2004. I felt so relaxed and felt he understood the life of an obese person. His answers to our questions were right on point and very knowledgeable. The nurses were great and very helpful. Surgical Associates has put together an awesome pre-op and post-op program. They were also very open about the risks of this surgery. The only thing I can say negatively about my experience so far, is that (and only because my situation is very different from others, i.e. I started my journey over 2 years ago with Dr. Gorospe, and I had to take legal action against my insurance company and WON!!!) the waiting time from the informational meeting to your 1st appointment is too long for me, but of course, since I have had such a long journey, I am a little impatient."
