2 to go!!!
Jan 24, 2011
On Thursday I will officially be 10 months into my 12 month supervised weight loss. Did I mention the little insurance company requirement that I can't lose more than 10% of my start weight? I have learned some things in the past 10 months, the most important being that I can lose weight, I can gain weight, but I am unable to maintain a weight. I did make it down to my Dr's goal weight in 6 months, but have regained 9 lbs in the past 3 months. Not worried about getting back down to my goal, but trying to maintain is making me a little insane!!! Hopefully in the next 2 months, I can go back to the strict diet the Dr's office put me on (required of all patients) and have a plan...free floating sort of dieting just doesn't work. I should have pushed the nutritionist harder on what I should add back to my diet and # of calories per day to shoot for.
I guess it's good, though, because it does drive home the point that after surgery, I will have to be diligent about what I eat..a really good thing to learn now!!!!!
