My story has no Beginning I have been over weight my whole life. My decision to go for bariatric surgery is for my girl's and health issue's. I have two wonderful girl's at home. My oldest is 7 and the youngest is 1years old. They are my pride and joy. 2 years ago I was able to lose 70lbs on my own by dieting, after all that hard work got pregnant with my second baby and the pounds came back on faster than when they came off. Surgery has always been on my mind never really considered it. June of 2010 I decided to attend a information meeting at the hospital where I work. At that point was very much interested and called up and made appointment for my first visit. The visit went very well seen the mental health person, nutritionist, and nurse practitioner. I was told had to lose about 15lbs before surgery and pre-op testing. So far have lost the weight and have done all the pre-op testing out of the way. Know just waiting for my follow up appointment. Once this comes they will give me my results and I get to meet with the surgeon and hopefully at that point will be able to pick a surgery date. So far very happy and excited scared about the whole thing.
