Thanks for the help Kathy. Everyone has been so helpful and nice to me. I talked to Kelly yesterday for quite awhile. She is such a sweetheart. I can't wait for when I actually have a surgery date. Never in my life did I ever imagine that I would look forward to surgery, but I don't think if it as that. I think about it as a new lease on life!!

Hi, Kat to update your profile you >log in to the site>your personal account page will come up >scroll down to General Info--this will take you to the page where you can update your profile. If you want to view your profile, you hit the button on the top left of the page entitled view your profile. Kelly Miller(FLW) and Jill Mellroy(Dixon) will be having surgery this month. Dr. Hornbostel will be their surgeon, also. I just read your update on your profile so I guess you already figured out how to update your profile. Was your birthday today? My husband is on active duty currently serving in Iraq. He should be returning home next spring. Kelly's husband just left for Iraq with 5th Engineers. So you have twins I can't imagine trying to keep up with twins. I have a 10 month old granddaughter. She is so active I am completely worn out by the time she goes home. I would be in so much trouble if there were two of her. LOL. I see we share more interests than JOhn Wayne. I also like to crochet although I don't do it as much as I used to. I also like to do plastic canvas work and counted cross-stitch. I have never learned to sew but I am thinking about learning. I would like to be able to make outfits for my granddaughter. I am so happy for you that you are able to have the surgery at your age instead of waiting until you are 44 years old. I am looking forward to the new lease on life also. I may not have been able to run around and keep up with my children but at least now I will be able to keep up with my granddaughter. If there is anything you would like to talk about concerning the surgery, I will be more than happy to share with you about my experience--the hospital stay, the nursing staff, and what to expect the night of surgery. My e-mail is [email protected] Congratulations!!! on the consult date. Kathy Crider
