Friday March 9th Update
Mar 11, 2007
I've been a little busy over the weekend.
I did my 1 week weigh-in, and I have success!! (Lost 4.5 lbs)
I was hoping to lose at least 2 lbs. I got on my scale and was so worried that I closed my eyes. LOL When I opened them and looked down I was shocked. I didn't see 213, no, I saw 211....whoohoo!
I even did a double check, got off the scale and back on again. I'm so happy and inspired now. I see what I'm doing is really working and I'm now on the road to weight loss.......again.
My workout is continuing everynight at 7pm. I am sometimes doing it by myself, as my family are busy or were sick this week. It doesn't matter, I kinda like doing it alone anyways, as I'm too busy counting my repetitions to talk or panting to heavy anyways. LOL
Still eating small portions (800cal/day), eating so much healthier, no junk food at all (that's a record), the water loading is working well to help keep me full.
We just took some photos of my front and side profiles(yuck) to keep on file as "Before" pictures to compare later. I regret that I never did that before, I always hid from the camera, and there's hardly any photos of me post-op. I'm jumping in front of that lens more often this time. LOL
Well, I'm not gonna sit at this pc all day, I'm getting off my but, do some cleaning and move!
I'll check in next week for another update.

First Update March 7, 2007
Mar 06, 2007
I have been working out 1.5 hours every evening doing (2) 10 minutes on the treadmill, 30 min on the weights, skipping for 5 min, actually doing 400 ab crunches (wow, they sure feel good, I think I'm addicted to crunches LOL), and proper warm ups and cool downs finished with a little dancing to the music.
I have my entire family doing this with me. My son is 20lbs overweight and he's trying hard to lose. Our daughter is very tiny for an eight year old (50lbs) and my husband only weighs 134lbs. He's a small man too. His side of the family is small. (Lucky him) He can eat more that I ever could and not gain a pound. They're doing this with me for family time and fitness.---beats video games!
I weighed myself on Friday March 2 (first time on the scale in years, had to buy a digital one) and today have lost 2.5 lbs in 5 days! I am so excited. I really think getting back to basics is going to work. That my "tool" is still functioning.
This is the first time in 15 years that I'm actually trying to lose weight again and it feels good.
I'm doing it all by myself but my little pouch tool is helping the way it should.
I'll keep you posted hopefully weekly to see how I progress.
I have no idea what to expect for weight loss this time around, but as long a it comes off instead of adding,....I'm happy!
