Well folks, after all is said & done, I had my surgery 6 months ago and have not really looked back. My start weight was 359 lbs and to date I weigh 258 & some change!!! For anyone who is contemplating surger for weight loss all I can say is "Just Do It!!" But in the same breath, be sure you are ready to do it and ready for the commitment. I can't say whether I"ll be successful but that's the plan. Only time will tell. When you have your surgery, listen to your doctors. Follow orders to the letter but remember things can go wrong so listen to your body and if you don't feel right, call the doctor & be seen. The worst (or best) that could happen is that you were wrong!!
I had my surgery done at Fresno Heart & Surgical Hospital and all I can say is that the staff there gave me excellent care. My primary surgeon Dr. Keith Boone of Fresno and his entire staff are nothing short of wonderful!! The make you feel cared for and they really do want you to succeed.
I am very glad I had this surgery. I have around 5 times the energy that I had six months ago and overall I feel great!
