Constance, I really understand your problem. My daughter needed to have her surgery on a specific time schedule, as well, because she was losing her insurance at the end of the month. The schedulers said no way, but she had an opportunity to present her problem to the surgeon himself and he called in the scheduler and made it happen. Sometimes it helps to go to the decision maker.
